Wedding cakes are a costly item many brides have no qualms about foregoing. Personally, I love a traditional(ish) wedding cake, but many couples just couldn’t care less about having one. Lots of people prefer pie. Or twinkies. Or the now incredibly popular cupcake tiers. When it comes to wedding cake alternatives, there are many options out there from which to choose. But have you ever heard of a shooter cake???

These tiers of shooters (I’m not sure if they’re jello shots, or what, exactly) come complete with a cake topper. And it looks like the very top tier has been spritzed with some decorative whipped cream. Will the couple take this top layer home with them, I wonder? Maybe they’ll freeze those last few shots and down them on their one year wedding anniversary.
